About Us
Elemental retreats are ran from Sunny Brow Farm with Suzy Anne and a unique team for each retreat that support the inner and outer spaces that you will experience. Sunny Brow is one of the key team members, and then with Phil (Suzy's husband), the master builder and walking guide, and Suzy Anne, the main yoga facilitator, this trio will always be here to welcome you. The various retreats then include other special souls that bring their unique gifts to support, enhance and nourish what we can offer.

Sunny Brow Farm is surrounded by 33 acres of woodland with native trees like oak, hazel, hawthorn, and silver birch. With Sunny Brow overlooking the farm, Limestone Beck trickling through the land, fairytale-like footpaths to Black Craig and Tarn Hows, and birds, badgers, deer, and hares keeping you company, this truly feels like a magical place to be. Our domestic animals, cats, dogs and farm chickens and sheep also form a unit that can be enjoyed, close up, or at a distance should you prefer!
The Sunny Brow retreat people team is a caring and passionate bunch of people willing to go out of their way to make your retreat experience the most beautiful it can be.
Various chef's, including Clara, Hanka and Triin come to cook and serve an array of beautiful plant-based wholesome meals, and dreamy desserts.
We have helpers from all over the world, come to stay for periods of time in our woodland cabin, to support behind the scenes with the barn apartments, making sure the are clean, cosy, and ready for your arrival. This team also supports in the retreat kitchen and at meal times.
Our massage therapists and support/guest facilitators vary from retreat to retreat. But are all special souls that have crossed our path and come to join for a while bringing their amazing talents. We feel so blessed to have this team; including the amazing singer songwriter and sound healer Olivia Fern, and Cumbrian renowned massage therapist Hanka Vrbulova. We hope you will enjoy the unique blend woven in on your chosen retreat.
SUZY ANNE
Suzy has been on a conscious spiritual journey since her early twenties, although believes it started way earlier than this, and was most definitely written in the stars. She feels blessed that her journey kept, and keeps on, unfolding in synchronistic and magical ways.
It led her from three fantastic yoga teacher training courses, to a three year holistic cookery and counselling course with the International Macrobiotic School. These passions were able to come together in a unique way when finding somewhere to offer them as services to the world.
Sunny Brow Farm was manifested in 2009 by herself and her life partner Phil. The renovations since then have led to an ever growing retreat centre, where she has been running successful retreats since 2013. She has continued to add, over time, to her skill set, with several more trainings in various spiritual practice's. She works hard to live her beliefs and share her passions and discoveries with her family, and people coming to stay at the farm. She believes that life becomes richer and more rewarding when walking a spiritual path as this has been her experience. It hasn't stop the challenges, but has given an amazing tool kit to surf with.
